Mantilla

Today I want to show this beauty that my grandmother Tere gave me. It is a mantilla that my great-grandmother gave to my grandmother and she doesn't really know where it came from. The first thing I did was show it to Pilar to see if they identified the type of lace. And it seems that the design of the mantilla is rare and it look to be Catalonian blonda, what it is clear is that it isn't blonde of Almagro. But it is a real gem handmade and now that I started in the lace I know that it need a lot of work.
The pity is that with the passage of time and use there are some broken parts. So I'll see if Pilar can helpe me to fix it. And then try to find an excuse to use it :-)
